Hello Family,
My name is Veronica Moore. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. My great grandmother last name was Pettway. Her brother Bunion lived in Gees Bend AL.
I would love to meet other family members and learn more of our heritage.
I won\'t be able to attend the reunion in June, because I\'ve already made arrangements to attend another family reunion in July. I hope my kids and I will be able to make it to the next Pettway reunion. I\'ll be taking many pictures at the reunion in July to share with you all the next time around.

Blessings ~ My father is Wash Solomon, deceased 02/2009. He was related to the Pettway\'s. His sister, my aunt, last name was Irby (she lived in Detroit, MI). I can recall visiting Connecticut a few times when I was younger (I\'m now 34) and meeting this side of the family. My sisters, Felicia & Courtney are from Bridgeport...I think. My name is Charlavonna James from Rancho Dominguez, California. I have a son name Ryan O\'neal Pettway and a grand daughter name Rhyen Aaliyah Ruby Pettway. (Ryan’s wife is Denesse Gough-Pettway) Ryan\'s father is Dorsey O\'neil Pettway, Warb (Sonny) Pettway is my son grandfather. I\'m told Warb is original from Mobile, Alabama. To my understanding he is still living in MobileAlabama.
Warb was married to Willie Mae Pettway (deceased) to this union four children were born Dorsey ( 1-child Ryan), Vickey ( 1- child Tasha), Michele --child Michael) and Muriel Pettway- (no children).
Sandra Pettway two children were born Cheryl Ann Pettway-(no children) and Lamar Pettway- (no children). All the children were born in Los Angeles Ca.
Please advise if you are members of Mr. Pettway family. I would like to know more information on my son\'s father\'s family.
